I know how uncomfortable it can feel to step into a gym and feel out of place, or unsure what you should even be doing. That’s why I created AmberKay. It’s for women over 40 and anyone who feels overlooked.

I grew up in Auckland and hold a BSc and a Diploma in Personal Training. My job is to meet you where you are and help you build strength and mobility in a way that feels safe and achievable. I’m the only trainer here, so you’ll always work directly with me.
We focus on practical strength and mobility sessions that help you move better and feel stronger, without any fluff or fuss.

What training looks like
All new clients start with a short chat so you can tell me what you are looking for and we can talk about how we get you there

Sessions are small
Groups are kept small. This keeps things relaxed and makes it easier to ask questions and get support when you need it.
Guided training
You’re guided with time to learn what you’re doing and why. There’s no rush and no pressure to keep up with anyone else.
Start where you are
If you’re coming back from injury or haven’t trained in a while, we work with what you can do and build from there.
Flexible on the day
Some days feel better than others. That’s normal.
Sessions adjust to what you can bring and do on the day.
Classes

Strength
Small-group strength sessions focused on building muscle and confidence. Exercises are simple, coached clearly, and adjusted as needed. You’ll lift weights, use bodyweight, and build strength at a pace that makes sense for you.

Teen Strength
Teen strength sessions help you learn how to train safely and feel comfortable in a gym environment. The focus is on good movement, confidence, and understanding what you're doing, without pressure or intimidation.

Mobility
Mobility classes focus on joint control, range, and strength through movement. These sessions support how your body moves day to day and alongside training. They’re about staying capable and comfortable, not pushing or forcing anything
